Get favedo

Access favedo anywhere.

The App Store and Google Play versions are on the way. Today you add favedo from your mobile browser: it takes a few seconds, and once it sits on your home screen it opens and behaves like any other app.

Available nowYour browser

Android, iPhone, iPad and desktop. Steps below.

Neither store has favedo yet. Tap a badge and we'll email you the day that app lands.

01 · Add it from your browser

Three ways in, depending on your device

This is how you get favedo today, and it is a few seconds of work. Your browser puts favedo on your home screen with its own icon. From then on you tap the icon, favedo opens in its own window with no browser bars, and it stays signed in.

Android — Chrome

Chrome can install favedo as a real app in three taps.

  1. Open my.favedo.app in Chrome.
  2. Tap the ⋮ menu in the top right corner of Chrome.
  3. Tap “Add to Home screen”, then “Install”.
  4. favedo appears on your home screen — open it from there from now on.

Chrome sometimes offers to do this for you with an install banner at the bottom of the screen. Tapping that does exactly the same thing.

After you add favedo as an app, you can start sharing directly to favedo from anywhere.

iPhone & iPad — Safari

Safari installs favedo from the Share sheet.

  1. Open my.favedo.app in Safari.
  2. Tap the Share button at the bottom of the screen — the square with the arrow pointing up.
  3. Scroll down the sheet that slides up.
  4. Tap “Add to Home Screen”.
  5. Tap “Add” in the top right. favedo lands on your Home Screen — open it from there from now on.

Safari only, on iPhone and iPad. Apple only lets Safari add a web app to the Home Screen — Chrome, Firefox and the rest can’t do it on iOS. If you’re reading this in another browser, open my.favedo.app in Safari first, then follow the steps above. One more iOS quirk: the installed app keeps its own sign-in, separate from Safari’s — so the first time you open favedo from your Home Screen, sign in there once and it stays signed in.

Add the favedo shortcut to save posts directly from your favourite platforms in one click.

Desktop · Chrome & Edge

Optional, but it gives favedo its own window and dock icon.

  1. Open my.favedo.app in Chrome or Edge.
  2. Click the install icon at the right end of the address bar — a small screen with a downward arrow.
  3. Choose “Install”. favedo opens in its own window, and lands in your dock, taskbar or app launcher.
  4. No install icon? Use the ⋮ (Chrome) or … (Edge) menu and look for “Install favedo” or “Apps → Install this site as an app”.

Installing is genuinely optional on desktop — favedo works exactly the same in a normal browser tab.

02 · iPhone share sheet

Save from anywhere in two taps

The “Save to favedo” shortcut puts favedo in your iPhone’s share sheet. Hit Share on a TikTok, a Reel, a YouTube video, a Reddit thread or any link at all, tap Save to favedo, and it lands in your saves — the app never has to open, and you stay in the feed you were in.

Add the favedo shortcut

Open this link on your iPhone or iPad. The shortcut arrives finished — there is nothing to set up, and nothing to switch on.

Get the Save to favedo shortcut
  1. Tap the button above on your iPhone or iPad. The Shortcuts app opens with the shortcut ready.
  2. Tap “Add Shortcut”. That's the whole install — favedo now appears in your share sheet.

Then use it

  1. In TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, Safari or anywhere else, tap Share.
  2. Swipe along the row of actions and tap “Save to favedo”. First time only, iOS asks you to allow it.
  3. That's it — the link is saved, and you're still where you were.

Move it to the front

  1. Tap Share, then scroll to the end of the row of actions.
  2. Tap “Edit Actions…”.
  3. Press and drag “Save to favedo” to the top of the list, then tap Done. It now sits at the front of every share sheet.

Prefer to build it by hand? The full manual walkthrough lives inside the app: open favedo, tap your avatar, and choose “Finish setting up favedo”.

03 · App Store & Google Play

Coming soon

Apps for iPhone and Android are being built. Neither store has favedo yet, so there is nothing to download there today, and we are not putting a date on it until they are ready.

Tap the one you want and leave your email. We'll write once, the day that app is live, and knowing which of the two you asked for is what decides which one gets finished first.

Nothing is on hold in the meantime. The browser install above gives you the same saves, the same folders and the same share sheet, and when the store versions land it is the same account with everything already in it.

04 · Chrome extension

Coming soon

A Chrome extension for saving a page without leaving it is on the roadmap. It isn’t available yet, and there’s nothing to install — we’d rather say so plainly than collect your email for a thing with no date on it.

In the meantime, the desktop install above plus a pasted link does the same job: paste any link on the home page and it saves.

Installed and stuck on something? The in-app setup guide walks you through notifications and the share sheet too.
